Sutter Holds Breast Cancer Lecture
Medical Oncologist Elizabeth Odumakinde, M.D., and Genetic Counselor Maude Blundell, M.S., CGC, will conduct a free lecture discussing breast cancer detection, prevention and treatment options on Tuesday, October 23, 2007. The lecture, hosted by Sutter Solano Cancer Center and Sutter Regional Medical Foundation, starts at 6:30 p.m. at 100 Hospital Drive, 2nd Floor, in Vallejo. Seating is limited, so please call 707-554-5326 to RSVP.
One out of every eight women in America will develop breast cancer at some point during her lifetime. However, women have a better chance of surviving breast cancer today than at any other time in history. Dr. Odumakinde and Blundell will discuss how technology for early breast cancer detection continues to improve, and treatment options for women diagnosed with breast cancer continue to multiply.
Free refreshments and hot hors d’oeuvres will be served at the lectures. For more information call 707-554-5326.
