New gastroenterologist ready to see patients in Fairfield and Vallejo

Board-certified gastroenterologist Lawrence Chan, M.D., practices
with Solano Regional Medical Group, the multispecialty medical group affiliated with Sutter Regional Medical Foundation. He sees patients in our Gastroenterology Department in Fairfield and Vallejo.

Physician Background
Dr. Chan received his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed his internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and his gastroenterology fellowship at Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center in Richmond, Va. His procedural training includes colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP and PEG placement.

His professional interests include colorectal cancer screening and inflammatory bowel disease. He has been awarded the Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholarship for academic excellence and is an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America.

In his free time, Dr. Chan enjoys sports, watching movies, and spending time with his wife and family.
