Gastroenterologist Sabba Maqbool, M.D., practices with Solano Regional Medical Group (SRMG), the multispecialty medical group affiliated with Sutter Regional Medical Foundation. She sees patients in our Gastroenterology Department in Fairfield and Vallejo.

Physician Background
Dr. Maqbool received her medical degree from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College in India and graduated with the highest distinction. She completed her internship and residency from Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio and a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology from Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.

Dr. Maqbool is a recipient of The Lawlor Reseach Award by the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and is active in the ACG subcommittees. Her professional interests include gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), colorectal cancer, irritable bowel syndrome and liver diseases.

In her free time, Dr. Maqbool enjoys spending time with her husband, traveling and hiking. She also volunteers her time to raise funds for charity organizations, such as Kashmir Education Initiative. Dr. Maqbool is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu.
